My name is Alejandro Casado. I’m an artist and sculptor based out of downtown Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Miami Florida and moved out to Los Angeles in 2012 in hopes of expanding my streetwear brand. After years in the very competitive fashion industry I decided to quit fashion and become a full-time artist. 

 

After trying multiple different styles of art I was trying to create a theme in which you knew it was my work just by looking at it. That’s when I decided to stick to only my style from here on out. Growing up in Miami I used to go fishing every weekend and had an immense love for sharks. So in 2014 I painted my first subhuman shark, which is just a shark head on a human body. A few years later, I got into working with Clay and the first thing I made was one of my subhuman sharks.. As of today, I’ve made over 30 sharks from scratch ranging from 8 inches figurines all the way up to 7 feet tall statues. The shark will forever  be my spirit animal. And just like sharks this severely ADHD artist never stops moving. I hope to have many shows in Los Angeles in 2025. I hope to see you all there.
